Traditional Barbering passing to 3rd Generation

In 1935 my father opened his barbershop. I apprenticed under him for 5 years. I became a licensed barber in 1982. 1984 I lost my dad. At the age of 19 I became sole proprietor of John J Pompetti Mens Hair Stylist located in Phila.Pa. In Sarasota Fl. 2018 I opened Karen Pompetti Master Barber Sarasota located downtown on 2nd & Central street. I am proud to announce my son Angelo Bonetti is now a 3rd generation licensed barber apprenticing under me. I know Angelo will have an incredible career. I am teaching him all my father taught me and then some. When you Love what you do you never work a day in your life. Congratulations my son I am so proud of you.
