5/29/23 Like Mother Like Son

Amazing love ❤️💈✂️ Angelo has been able to keep my barbershop open for me as an eye surgery & recovery have kept me away from my scissors for 5 weeks now. I could not have imagined something like this could happen - but never say never I guess. We just don’t know what tomorrow has in store. I’m blessed to have had the operation before it was too late. I’m blessed Angelo has the passion for barbering and the courage to basically jump right in and take care of some clients for me. July will be my 5th anniversary of my business in this location. I’ve maybe had a total of 30 days off in the past 5 years until now. And this wasn’t and isn’t much fun at all. Without proper vision, there is not much one can do. I have never been more grateful for my eyesight. Human nature is so strange how we take things for granted. I know I will get my vision back. I’m just not sure when. From what the doctor says it may take one more week. I am patient but have to admit frustration is starting to build and I want to get back to my scissors and comb and most of all the people I love and care about. Giving my absolute 100% best to every client is what brings me joy and I’m missing that joy. I live for it:) I truly miss keeping my fellas looking well groomed, handsome and happy. I am determined to come back better than ever, with a great new respect for something so sorely missed. Please be sure you keep up with your eye exams, having a retina detachment is extremely serious, if not taken care of asap it will lead to permanent vision loss.

What an incredible gift it is to have eyes that see. ❤️
